This is the solid cream lubricant that is oven the gears to make them run smoothly and long last.

In order to have as liquid oil underneath means that the mixer overheated and that make the lubricant to become like oil.

As you may understand you need to leave gaps between uses so it can be cool down a bit and avoid overheating since this will have more serious results like a broken teeth of the gears or even motor overheat.

However there is also a possibility that gearbox need to be swipe out from old lubricant and place a new one.

Why is water dripping from inside the fridge around the rear light section?

In some Refrigerators there is tray below the freezer section and there is a small hole in the tray. Water dripping from the tray enters a hole below in the back and goes out to a chamber.
If the hole is covered with dirt or if you place something in the line between these holes, water will drip and collect in the bottom of the refrigerator.

Hi, I have v old Kenwood 701 and also a a701a. Both are dripping grease and also have that "electrical" smell. Both could do with a clean internally and replace grease and any washers...

The grease from the bearings is not grease. It is old, dry oil. The motor bearings are oilite bearings made of phosphor Bronze and soak up the oil like blotting paper. They will need fresh oil. The cogs and screw use grease but most of the bearings are oilite and sewing machine grade oil will renovate them.
All of the above information is from when I renovated my mums Kenwood Mixer back in 1965.
Hope that helps.

Whirlpool MH2175XS microwave/hood combo with oil leak, etc.

This is a very wierd problem that we have been dealing with for years, and never seem to get a correct answer. Have actually seen green slime like oil inside the units before. From what we have heard, is that this oily substance is actually coming out of the blower fan assembly inside the unit. Its like bearing oil from the center support shaft. Will go away over time, but the fan may or may not go bad. Good luck with the mystery oil.

Cycle stops and won't run until the clock is reset

The magnetron cooling fan blade is either slipping on the motor shaft or has spun and fallen completely off the shaft. It can be reattached to the shaft as it just slides on. Several well placed drops of 5 minute two-part epoxy from Home Depot or Lowe's dripped into the hole in the fan blade before you slide it back on will insure that it doesn't come off again
