SOURCE: replacement Kenwood KSC-WA82RC Car Subwoofer remote control wire

It looks like the S-video you need one end to be male and the other is female end.The high quality the S-video wire the better the sound.Make sure you get a long enough cord. Take it with you to radio shack or and car audio or home audio find the female end of the S-Video and it should plug in perfect.Wire it up and enjoy some tunes

You will probably have to get the remote. You can search online as there are a number of vendors who sell replacement OEM remotes.

Not getting power when ignition is on and what is the rem imput for

the rem input (probably a blue wire) is what tells your amp to come on. the power supply is the red wire, that means that the amp is powered. it is not 'on' until the remote (rem) wire is powered. It acts like a power button or switch that is controlled by your unit. there are ways around conventional wiring if you have trouble getting your unit out.

I have brought and wired everything up but cannot seem to get the remote to work it keeps saying something about a blue wire but the blue wire that came with my package will not fit the remote

The blue remote lead hooks up to your stereo head unit in the dash...when you turn the radio on the remote lead becomes hot(+12V) to turn the amplifier on...without the remote lead the amplifier would stay on all the time and would then drain your battery...the blue lead is a turn on signal sent tot the amp

I have a fusion sub and amp and have no instructions on how to wire this can somone please help ive got green wires red wire and a small thin blue wire

Hello nicole_murra,

The green wires are for signal input to the included amp and should be connected to a pair of RCA preamp outputs on your head unit. The thin blue wire connects from "remote" on the amp to a switched 12V output on the head unit (usually blue or blue/white). The red wire is for power and goes through the fuse to positive battery. You also need to connect the amp terminal marked "ground" to the metallic chassis of your vehicle, within a distance of about 1/2 meter or less. There's usually a short piece of wire with black insulation included in most amp wiring kits. If your Fusion sub did not come with such a wire, you can use any wire that is the same gauge (or bigger) than the red power wire.

Hope this helps.

H ,ive brout a second hand fusion 10 inch sub, with built in amp .i have already tryed to c if its going to work ,all conectins are fine but no power is running to sub and amp i checked the fusez no...

Do you have the remote on from the head unit hooked up. If there is nothing to tell the amp to turn on it wont. You can bypass this to see if the thing works by using a jumper wire from the power wire to the remote on. I don't suggest leaving it like that though cause it will drain your battery over time. You need to hook the remote on to a power source that is only on when the radio is on. Like a power antenna wire.

Have no wires for a Fusion EN-AT110 Basstube!!!

The best place is to go to any store like halfords or maplin, or a lot cheaper if you wanna wait is ebay, many fusion amps/ active subs need special wiring !!!£80 from them direct only way, or you can go to maplin and get this product: A21GF (power supply extender 24pin) then cut off the three columns you need and the top and bottom of each are the respective 12v positive input remote and earth, cut the wires off half way and twist the top and bottom together, then add the twisted wires to your normal sub cables. make sure you use insulation tape around the naked wires for quality and stop it short curciting
