SOURCE: Adjusting single leaver faucet handle

The little wrench tightens the tension ring that fits on the inside of the retaining nut right under the handle. You fit the little "arms" in the notches.

Pry the hot/cold button off the top of the handle. Make sure the water is turned off below the sink.

Under the button should be screws. Remove the screws. Pry the handle off. Remove the stems by lifting then out.

That should give you access to the washers you need to change.

SOURCE: Looking for parts breakdown picture for DANZE NSF

NSF 61(-9) is a standard rather than the model number (it's often very difficult to identify the model number. If you are able to find the model number, the link attached has all the technical specs for Danze products (even discontinued ones). http://www.danze.com/tech_specs.asp

Otherwise, I suggest browsing their faucet section until you find yours.

Good luck.

SOURCE: Bought a home, main kitchen faucet is a Danze NSF

I'm not familiar with a NSF 61/9, but I've used several other models. I believe these are all ceramic disc valve. They almost never wear out. If you remove the handle and the trim cap or bonnet, there should be a nut or adjusting ring you can tighten. Don't over do it. The handle give you quite a bit more leverage than the small tap when it is removed. Here is Danze web site and you can look up your exact model number and see a exploded parts list: www.danze.com

How remove handle for water ridge farcet nsf 61/9

On a water ridge kitchen faucet, there is a brass fitting that the water supply hose going to the faucet you pull out connects to under the sink, on that fitting youll find a small screw loosen it up, pull the fitting off , also loosen the other screw and disconnect the hose, now look inside the fitting there is some plastic junk ( not sure what its for) get a screw driver and a hammer and bash it out(not to hard) then put it back together. good to go, full pressure!! worked on mine and has for 2yrs.

Faucet is leaking from the cold water line inside the faucet. it is a danze lazio pull out kitchen faucet

Hello
First shut off water to faucet. There should be a allen screw that holds the faucet together near the top back of the handle, lossen this and pull top off.

Next take some pliers and tighten down the lock nuts to compress the washers,do this gently.

Reassemble,water should stop leaking.

I have a leaking Delta single handle kitchen faucet, The leak is between the faucet and the knob at the top. I have replaced the ball, 2 springs, two seals, the cap with a notch in it washer for that and...

I may be able to help you. Some faucets are made with the option to have a base or to mount directly to the counter. The bigger washer might be the one that seals the faucet to the counter The leak out of the top of the faucet is probably caused from the plastic nut with the grooves in the top of it not being tight enough. The repair kit should have came with a tool that has a allen wrench on one end and two prongs on the other.Use the pronged end to tighten the plastic nut ,If the other parts where put in correctly this should cure your problem. If the faucet continues to leak you can get a pamplet that will give you instructions from a rep at the plumbing supply or on line in one of the sights for Delta Faucets.

Leakes around spout

You remove the handle after turning the water off the to faucet. Remove the retaining nut which is apart of the trim. The ball assymbly will pull right out and you will find the two little washers and springs below the ball. You can buy a rebuild kit with the new ball if you like but it is not necessary. When you do replace the washers, it might be necessary to tighen the tension ring that is on the retaining nut. Tighten it unit it doesn't leak around the ball stem.

There are "o" rings in the area where it is leaking. You can get them at almost every hardware chain. Clean everything well with scotchbrite ant put silicon grease on before you put it back together.

Danz cartridge removal

Loosening the set screw behind the small plastic hot/cold plug will allow you to lift the handle straight up. You may need to jiggle it a little bit or twist it, just pull straight up with the faucet handle down and centered. Once the handle comes off, Then the collar should thread off exposing the inner workings of the faucet. You should then be able to unthread a bunch more components and washers until the cartridge top is exposed (depends somewhat on whether it is a pullout hose or seperate sprayer...not sure exactly what model you have but this is the standard for a single handle kitchen faucet...)

Here is a link to a page that shows how your (hopefully your) faucet goes together... also includes the re-order info for cartridge (#8)...

I would also check the supply stops to make sure they are not clogged, because it is definetly a sediment problem.
