Oven not heating KitchenAid KERC506HWH3

The oven does not heat. Everything on the range works including the display. When you turn on the oven you can hear clicking noises but it will not activate the heating elements. I tried all the combinations of convection, bake, preheat and broil. Is this a problem with the oven sensor or the control panel? How do I tell? How do I test the sensor to see if it is working? I have a 2006 electric Frigidare oven that will not heat up the burners on top work and when I turn the oven on it looks like it is working on the display but it will not heat up I can try to turn on self cleaning and the door will lock but it still will not heat up same thing with the boiler wont heat up at all in oven. I just used it fine the night before. Can some one help me figure out how to fix this? I have the same thing going on in my 50's version of general moters frigidaire, the burners work along with all the displays, and the back of the oven gets hot and so does the plate warmer, but the oven will not heat up. I have tightend every conection possible but when it stopped working one day, it never did again.

Built-in ovens have a thermal fuse mounted in the back of the oven preventing the bake and broil from operating. In some cases this fuse will open after a self clean operation. In some models, the cooling fan turns off too soon, causing an overtemperature condition that may also cause the fuse to open. You will have to remove the oven and take off the back panel to gain access to this device.

It could possibly be you are not getting 240 volts to the range. The top igniter may be getting a current back through the other side of the 240 circuit and that is why it works when the oven is turned on but the oven will not be getting power to heat. Have the 240 circuit checked or make sure the circuit breakers are reset correctly.

KitchenAidKEBS107: NO HEAT after power failure during self clean

Thermostat on the back needs replacement. The problem is caused by overheating the oven. Improper installation or inadequate blower. Depending on the model, the oven might need a new blower in addition to the thermostat. Try calling KitchenAid to find out if the oven needs that blower and get the part number for the thermostat, they might have replaced it with the one with higher temperature rating.

Oven not heating KitchenAid KERC506HWH3

This is probably the thermal shuttoff fuse. Usualy mounted in the back of the oven. Aftermarket fuses are resetable but the OEM ones that come with the ovens usualy are not, so when they go out they stay out. This shuttoff only effects the power to the element so the rest of the oven appears to work.
The oven has to come out and remove the rear covers, behind the covers you will see 2 wires that go to a small 1/2 in dia "plug" that mounts directly to the surface with 2 screws.
Remove the connections and put a meter across the cuttout. it should read very close to zero ohms, if not its blown.

Did this with me twice now on self clean. It's the thermostat on the back of the oven. Set to trip when oven gets too hot which happens with self clean. Part is about $45 - $50 and pretty simple to install. Hardest part is pulling the oven out of the wall.

OVEN will not heat

KitchenAid KEBC107KSS does not heat hot enough and does not heat evenly. When the temperature is dialed higher, it burns the cookies. When the convection fan is on, it has a 'cooling effect' so the temperature never reaches the proper level. Is this problem repairable? Or is this a thermostat issue? Thank you for your help!
