Make sure with your service provider that the service is supported and the connection you have is active for the facility.
If so recheck with the provider for any other settings or strings to be set in.

When I try to send a picture it comes up saying sending failed define network setting any idea how to solve this ?

Your MMS (multimedia service) settings are not correct
You need to set your MMS correctly
The correct settings are provided by the SERVICE PROVIDER
Call your service provider ,ask them to send you the MMS settings of your mobile.
When you receive them just save them and turn your mobile of for 4 minutes
Then turn it on ..it will work

Samsung Mobile Phone;Model SGH-i200 will not retrieve incoming mms photos and will not send photos attached to sms (says I need to set up profile??) Thanks

It's one of two things. 1: the programing in your phone might be messed up, so you may have to take it into your provider store. Odds are though there won't be anyone smart enough to do anything about it (even though they do have the capabilities), so you might have to send it to the manufacturer. 2: Most likely your provider has blocked your internet service. Most smart phones can't send or receive MMS's if the subscriber decides to cancel there internet services. I think it's just a way to get you to pay for something you don't want. Non smart phones (that don't even have internet capabilities) are able to send and receive MMS's without having to pay for internet service at all, unfortunately most phones now are smart phone based even if they're not called as such. You don't have to get a plan for internet service, but you will end up paying for each kb you use to send and receive each MMS. If you do send and receive a lot of them you might actually be better of getting an internet plan. Ether way it sucks that we have to pay twice. I mean if we pay to send why does the other person have to pay to receive? Isn't it already payed for? Even when it's physical we don't pay to receive a package as well.

Trying to send mms messages they start to send then stop and say queued

have you activated mms setting from your network provider?the next issues is that even though the general believe is that there is no limit to a mms size to be sent most networks limit it to 300kb.so also check the size of the file you are trying to send with the capability of your device.verify your browser settings.and finally verify that the person yu intend sending the mms to has mms supported by carrier and uses a device that supports mms.if this doesn't work then contact your provider customer care.

Phone is sending all messages in MMS mode.

Hello Sir, If you'll provide me the Exact Brand/Model of your friends phone then the assistance would be much smarter.
Even though, let me tell you that there's a "Sending Profile" under the SMS/Messege Settings in your phone, check all the arguments under that profile, there may be some mistake there.
Regards,
Waqar.

Can't receive or send multimedia message

Hi,
If your MMS settings are correct (they could be wrong or your operator updated them) on the phone and you do have GPRS access, then the problem most probably lies with your mobile operator. You should call them and make sure the settings are correct and that you do indeed have GPRS access. Good luck!

Phone Sending MMS Messages as Default

The phone allocates a certain amount of storage for messages on a whole. Even though there may still show space available for text messages, you have hit an invisible "limit" and the phone is now defaulting to MMS messages because there is "room" there. Delete a fair amount of messages and you should be able to start sending regular text's again.
