Question about Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 Video Card Graphic
You need to plug the card in first for you, you need help doing that? If so let me know...
Then you need to go into the BIOS of your computer, probably DELETE key right when you start up. Under integrated components you will have the onboard video where you can change it to disabled.
The drivers are from Nvidia.. they have a utility that will identify which ones you need and get them for you... you can use that here:
What make / model computer is this, I can probably get you the manual as well.
Let me know and I can help further,

You do not necessarily need to disable the built in graphic adapter, the computer can manage two different adapters.
The nVidia should show picture with standard VGA definition (800x600 only) if simply connected to the AGP or PCI slot even if drivers are not installed, and even if built in GPU is not disabled.
If there is no picture, check installation in slot, check that card is not disabled in BIOS, check video cable is well connected, and if nothing works, test the video adapter on different PC, the card may be faulty.

To clarify with you the version of Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 that you have has both a standard DVI and VGA port or just one or the other. I ask because there are several versions.
If you have one that has both and you have not tried connecting to the other port I would try that. I have setup server systems with the same hardware and even though you many have not used the other port on the last install of Windows this time around Windows is wanting to use that port as the primary port.
After you get the drivers installed then you can resign the primary output to the port that your want.
Note as long as the Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 is installed you can install the drivers with the monitor connected to the onboard. After the install the system will ask to be rebooted. At this point you will be able to connect to the Geforce card.
If you need the drivers for your Geforce you can download them from this link.
Let me know if you have any more problems or questions
