Leaking intake plenum

I doubt a leaking plenum would cause it not to start. Usually a leaking plenum would cause an air leak and make the engine run too fast.
Any trouble codes stored ? Will it start using carb cleaner spray ?

While driving engine dies and oil indicator ligth is on what is the cause

The battery makes no difference.
If the oil light came on, then the engine died, the fuel pump lost power because of no oil pressure. You would need to find out if the oil pressure switch is working correctly or not.
If the engine died then the warning light came on, the switch did what it is supposed to do and the fact the engine died is caused by something else.

2001 sentra motor idles but dies as soon as you give it gas

I would check the Mass airflow sensor, if not working properly it will not have the car adjust to the air coming in causing too much air for fuel causing the engine to die.

P1138 - Swirl Control Actuator

Can you diagnose your own vehicle?

Then you need to go to someone that can

You should not be using it, no matter what
research you do,as you have a check light on & as
you said, don't have a definite diagnoses.

A TPS Sensor will cause several problems, but not likely
to the point it would die.

Explain the #39---then stop with that

Dies when you step on brakes then starts right up again and dies when you stp on brakes again.

Do you hear a gas leaking when you step on the brakes? Leak would be in the brake booster in the engine compartment just ahead of the driver. A large leak in the booster can cause the engine to die. If this is not the cause or you would like instructions for replacing the booster, please get back to me.

Our 2001 camry lost power going down the road and died. We looked under the hood and the pulley that comes off the engine that runs the alternator belthad came apart. If the pulley came apart and that belt...

I'm not sure about the belt set up, it should be on a sticker under the hood. But losing your alt can cause the car to die due to loss of electrical power to run the computer, fuel pump, coils, ext. on some cars you can run for awhile on the battery, but eventually it'll die. Some cars are set up to die if the alt fails so that the rest of the cars systems can still be used

Well i was riding the bike at night and all of a sudden the lights shut off... and well everything shut off... and the bike died. but then came back on very fast and then died once again but did not come...

the main cause could be the regulator which died and cut off the power .
the CDI unit maybe the cause as well .
the last thing your magneto could also have died .

2000 s10 extreme died while i was driving it was wierd

It is either a bad sensor or plugged fuel filter. Very possible it is the throttle position sensor or leaky injector. Most likely bad sensor.. If check engine light is on, than surely bad sensor.

Engine died when incontact with water

Are you saying Died or Dies? does the car still run but when wet dies? or have you driven through deep water? if driven through water then you have possibly drawn fluid into the intake causing the engine to die as you put it, you may if too much liquid has been inducted have caused damage by bending the con rods as too much compression with water in the cylinders.
Please I hope this isn't so and don't take it out on me if it is?
If the car got very damp try spraying a de-watering fluid or Wd40 around the plugs, leads, coil and any exposed electrical items that look damp/wet. Wait a while before trying to start again as the propellant in the aerosol is highly flammable and could start a fire if your ignition tracks down to earth causing a spark.
Press the Blue button if sorted please!
Sorry to bring bad tidings.
