Good news! You can fix this very easily! The threads for tripod to camera mounting have been standardized for decades!
What you require is a 1/4-20 bolt of any type. You can go to any hardware store and find a huge selection.....many will even have a knurled knob on the end for hand-tightening. Places like Home Depot have large bins with just about every type bolt imaginable.
THE most IMPORTANT thing is choosing the correct length. Too long, and overtightening can damage your camera. Along with your bolt purchase, get a matching 1/4-20 nut to act as a backstop so you do not screw it in too far. You only need to have the bolt screw into your camera about 1/4" to secure it. You can also add a 1/4 inch flat washer to keep the nut off your camera's finish. Your bolt needs to be long enough to go through your tripod mount and then into your camera.
FYI- The "1/4-20" designation means that the bolt is 1/4 inch in diameter, with a thread "pitch" of 20 threads per inch.
Good Luck, and Thank You for using FixYa!
