Question about Kenmore 91112 / 91114 / 91117 Electric Kitchen Range

1 Answer

My oven will either error (F3) out after about 20 minutes of use or error (F3) on trying to restart after use. I normally have to wait about 30min for the oven to cool before it will restart. I have tried resetting (unplugging) but if the oven is hot it will not restart until it has cooled. What could be the problem? Plus the self cleaning feature no longer works.

Oven left on shut itself off how to reprogram

Hi Shannon Turner - Try reprogramming the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, the range could possibly have a faulty element(s), wiring failure, or a communication error with the EOC. Connect with a professional to accurately pinpoint any potentially more serious issues if issue continues.

Hello mapatt - Are you able to open or latch the door? Try reprogramming the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. This will clear most false error codes. When the pyrolytic function is switched on the oven starts the process then after about ten minutes the code f1 appears on the digital control panel and stops

Hello katefreeman1 - Typically error code F1 indicates that the range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). A certified technician will need to check the RTD sensor probe and/or EOC and replace if necessary. Try reprogramming the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Computer refuses to start up, its stuck just before the password entry screen, saying please wait for over 30min

Remove the battery, unplug the power, wait for a minute and restart the computer. If it comes up the same way then you have a problem with the hard drive or graphics driver. If it boots up with some hope then it should prompt you to start in safe mode, normally or to run a diagnostics and recover your computer.
