On the XTN and CP100 series radios you have 4-6 items which would need to be programmed: Frequency, Code, Scramble, Wideband/Narrowband, Mic Gain, and VOX. You can tell when you've reached the end of programming through the steps because the "chirp" will sound different.

Just a few thoughts which might help you:
1) Check to see these items match identically: frequency, code, scramble and wide/narrowband. (note: the numbering system on frequencies differs between the two models.)
2) If you are using an audio device and/or VOX, be sure you have the radio turned OFF when plugging in the device.
3) Check your mic hole to make certain you do not have debris or something covering the hole.

Educated guess you might have the code set differently between the radios. If these suggestions do not solve the problem, google our company name and give us a call, we can walk you through checking the programming over the phone. Have both a known good CP100 and XTN radio handy.

Best regards.

I have an 2012 chrysler 200. i recently had to replace the radio. it was purchased off of ebay. i have thevehicles registration and radios serial number how do i retreive the security code

The code is unique to each radio. You will need to show proof of purchase and the radio serial number to a Chrysler dealer to get the unlock code for the radio you purchased.

Grundig satellit 800 antenna replacement

Assuming its broken outside the unit: most aerials are very similar to fit, serving the exact same function and not worth the cost of locating the exact same one used for your model due to time, and purchase costs.
Find an old transitor radio with similar sized aerial, ie length and diameter to fit your radio. Measure it and the replacement from an old radio you or a friend does not need.
Purchase a small screwdriver to remove and refit aerial to your grundig. Small sets of screwdrivers can be bought cheaply from discount stores, ebay etc.

Radio won't come on and I have no code

if radio is from another car you will have to go to dealer to program and to make it worse you will need the donor cars vin number as this is programmed in the radio and has to be removed appropriately by dealer.

Mcy code for my Radio and clock wont work. I had

There is no easy way to bypass the code, it would be cheaper to buy a flash new radio, you could get one with gps and video etc... off ebay for under 500.

oh well, if im not mistaken that is a tape player correct? and well since the unit is already in the faceplate shouldn't need a security code, although if you replaced the whole thing, even then it shouldn't be a problem. Hope i could help Deneenie.
