Question about Frigidaire Dryers
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly.

Based off what you have described your Frigidaire dryer is not heating up properly. Sounds like a possible problem with your element, thermostat, or control panel. You should also check to make sure there is not a build-up of lint or debris within the vent or vent assembly. A build-up could cause your dryer to stop heating. If there is not a build-up on your dryer, then in order to accurately diagnose your dryer you would need to disassemble it and test each component. This is not a simple DIY job. To properly take apart your dryer you should inquire assistance from a professional technician. They will have the tools needed to properly remove and test each part on your dryer.
