Everything works on my frigidaire LER331DSO but it does not get hot

Thank you for your post, friend!

Based off what you have described your Frigidaire dryer is not heating up properly. Sounds like a possible problem with your element, thermostat, or control panel. You should also check to make sure there is not a build-up of lint or debris within the vent or vent assembly. A build-up could cause your dryer to stop heating. If there is not a build-up on your dryer, then in order to accurately diagnose your dryer you would need to disassemble it and test each component. This is not a simple DIY job. To properly take apart your dryer you should inquire assistance from a professional technician. They will have the tools needed to properly remove and test each part on your dryer. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

DRYER WILL NOT HEAT UP

It's either the fuse, heating element, thermal cut-off or thermostat

Frigidaire dryer doesn't produce heat, but everything else is working. What do I do to fix that problem?

Unplug remove panels necessary
Check the element for breaks or issues
if no problems found replace the safety devices directly in line with the power supply for the element

Frigidaire dryer problem

The vent duct length's sound fine.

Have you confirmed that the heater element is working? You don't mention whether the unit get's hot.

If it get's hot, then suspect the thermostat, or the overtemp stat.

Also, be suspect that users are overloading the dryer.

Also make sure that you feel a strong blast of hot air discharging at the vent end, with the washer/dryer in place.

Check that the vent grills inside of the dryer are clear.

Reply back and I can help you further.

Frigidaire Gas Dryer not heating up. Other elements are all ok.

It sounds like your igniter is no good. At all costs, check the Fuse before anything else. It is usually accessed from the back of the unit.

Dryer doesn't dry clothes. seems to run on low heat.

Make sure dryer is unplugged. Take the back off and you will see two heater exchanges and probably the element. One of those heat exchangers is for hot setting. When you find out which one go to nearest electrical shop with it and order. I reckon thats what your problem is. I've changed mine and everything was alright.
