I have a mt1400 media edition and it will not restart and has to revert to last know settings each time i load it up, i have heard from online forums that it could be the graphics card the card is a radeon 9250 128mb 64 bit

Try going into safe mode, uninstalling, rebooting, then reinstalling the driver for the video card.

Restart the computer and keep pecking the F8 key till a Startup menu appears. There are a few things you can try there.. "Load last know good configuration, Windows Repair, Safe Mode, which will let you use System Restore to revert to a date before this problem first occurred.. WHEN U START UR COMPUTER, THEN AT THE TIME OF BOOTING, PRESS DEL KEY CONTINUE, UNTILL UR COMPUTER ENTER IN BIOS SETTINGS, U WILL SEE A BLUE COLOR SCREEN, WHEN UR PC WILL ENTER IN BIOS SETTINGS.

I HOPE U WILL GET THE SOLUTION.

PC difficultly boots


it look like you have to many ram or set the ram timing rong restrat the pc and press f2 and del at the bigining and after load the bios go to the last exit and make load defaults and say yes and restart and see if you get the problem solve thanks

PC restarts automatically without error message


Sounds like you may have a virus. There are many good free online scanners. For instance try Trendmicro's housecall or Panda online scanner or the one from Symantec.
A great virus program is Antivir. There is a free edition.

I have lost my system restore cds for Philips MT1400 and I need to restore. I have used the built in restore to no avail - can you help


all u nid to do is buy a fully edition of ur os..
coz once u have already started that,no turning back..
i min,,all the files that u have made b4 u did system restore is no longered install to ur pc..
and,,ur built in restore wasnt rili functioning coz u didnt back uped ur files b4 when it was functioning well.
no mor solutions 4 that unless u buy and install a full edition of ur system..
