I had this same problem which lasted for months. Finally after repeatedly calling my Internet company and having them tell me that there was nothing wrong and that my speed was still what it was supposed to be, I asked that they send someone out. It turned out that my router was bad! Once they replaced it with a new one I got the full five bars (prior to this I onely had 1 bar showing) and my wireless conncetion was awesome again!

How do I get it on my wifi network? it keeps telling me it is avoiding the network because of poor internet cinnection.

If you have poor internet connection problem with your WiFi, try with the following steps,
1.)Reset the wireless router by using the power switch on it or by unplugging it and plugging it back in.
2.)Place the wireless router in an ideal location. The higher it is, the better, but don't put it near metal objects.
3.)Get as close as possible to the router with whatever device you're trying to connect.
4.)Keep the router and your connecting device away from other electronics. You should especially keep away from phones, fax machines and microwaves. etc.,
5.)Adjust the Wifi antenna if it has one.
6.)Change the router's channel, especially if other wireless routers are nearby.Following these steps would give you stable internet connection and also increased speed in connection. You can check your internet speed from ScanmySpeed.com before and after following these steps.

Can i use my WRT120N on neighbors WiFi Network

Hello there,

You cannot use this router to connect to your neighbour's router wirelessly. It is possible to share your neighbours internet connection with this router, only if you run a cable between. You will need a Range Extender or a Wireless repeater for this purpose.

I keep losing connection to my Wifi Extender

Apple have produced a downloadable app for managing this router.
It also acts like a signal strength meter, and can control various modes on the extender.

Check there is not a scheduler or "Good Night" setting on the extender.
EdiRange
Signal indicator
Amber
Flashing
Poor signal strength:
0 - 39%
So your problem is still poor signal strength, your extender is still not within the wireless range or your router.
See Manual.

Poor wireless internet connection

Lots of things can hinder your wireless connection. How far away from the router or AP you are, which wireless standard you're using. (A, B, G, N) Other wireless networks operating on the same channel as yours. Devices that operate in the same frequency range. Wireless G operates at 2.4 GHz, and so do newer cordless phones and microwaves.

I have a Belkin N1 Vision Wireless router and its performance is poor, i have checked it via the pingtest site and it constantly has a packet loss of 20% or higher and poor stats re ping and jitter tests...

PAULUS

The first question I have is have you tried connecting to router via wired and wireless and ran the tests to see if the issue is with your wireless signal.

Then next thing to look at is connecting your modem to your computer and run the same test because the problem could be with your connection in your area. Note even through your modem is working properly you still could have bandwidth issues in your area and your ISP may not tell you that there is an issue like that in your area.

The last thing to look at is how long you have had the router for. If you have had the router for serveral years it is possible that it is just time to have the unit replaced.

Let me know if you have any more problems or questions.

Limited poor wireless connection

Hi,

The wireless connection is Poor because there so many mediums coming in between your computer and the wireless device..

To increase it make sure there is no wall more than 1 ..and device is near by some where from where ur working.

Or else you can buy high range device from the market to increase it.

Poor Wireless Printer Connection

Yes move the printer closer to the router or vice-versa, or make sure their are no microwaves between the router and printer. Chordless phones, thick mason or plaster walls can also hurt the signal range...Good Luck
