Re: LE error code only top line missing?
You are geting a thermistor error. The thermistor is located at the bottom of the tub at the front. I may be that is unpluged, or a loose connection. Thermistors rarley go bad, but it could also be a possibility. To access it safley you should remove the front panel and check the connection of it.

Hi Jilu, The link below is a list of error codes for your washing machine..... CHEERS..
LG Washing Machine Error Code = LE
LG Washer Error = Drive Motor Locked Error
CHECK / REPAIR / FIX = Check the wire harness connections on the motor and the hall sensor (tachometer). Repair any wiring issues. If the wiring connections check good then check for damaged motor components. Replace if needed. If motor is good the replace the hall sensor.
The LE error or fault code indicates that the washer motor is either overheating or has lost connection to the motor control circuit board. Turn off the machine for 30 minutes to let the motor cool down. Then, restart the washer. If the code comes back immediately the motor is not likely to be at fault and so you should check the wiring from the motor to the motor control board. Also, check the wiring and condition of the rotor position sensor, also called a HALL sensor. If the code doesn't come back on immediately, but returns after the washer has run for a while, the motor stator may be defective
I see that you are receiving error code LE on your Frigidaire washer. However, is it possible that the code is missing characters? I show that LE is an invalid error code. May I have your model number please? You can normally find the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the upper front, as you open the door. Also, think about what may have happened prior to this occurrence. For instance, did you notice any strange functions or any other error codes prior to this issue? With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you! - Z
Aha the old LE error code: Problem: An occasional LE error but always a slow or no spin: Solution: A Red wire going to the Hall sensor was intermittent. You can test this from the main board connector down to the connector on the hall sensor by checking continuity. There is an intermediate connector down by the motor/hall sensor so you can isolate the problem even more. Problem was in the short wire harness that connects directly to the motor and hall sensor. Could not find the open point of the wire so added a new red wire and integrated it into the harness. All is Good!!!
No, this is not the same as the LE code. The FE code indicates an overflow error or condition. The things to check out would be the drain and the drain line to make sure there are no kinks in it. The drain hose can get clogged with sludge and sometimes a hot wash with a 1/2 cup of vinegar will clean out the sludge. If that doesn't work, I would take a look at the pump to make sure it is not clogged with anything and that the pump impellers are good. Take a flashlight and look into the suction port of the pump. Look for any broken or missing impeller blades. If any are broken or missing or if the impeller will not move freely, the pump would need to be replaced. Hope this helped and best wishes.
Sorry I missed the LE code in the book.. Too much fun lastnight I guess.. AT any rate.. The Le fault code is a Motor overload warning. Unplug it for 2 hours and try the machine again with a test wash. if it persists you need to get a technician out for it. Hope this helps :)
