Tv has no picture

If you have lost your picture you can try a few steps. The first step would be to reset your receiver by unplugging it for ten seconds. If that does not resolve the issue, you will need to check the cable going from the receiver to the TV set. Start by making sure it's firmly connected. If the cable is a coax cable (screws on) tune the TV set to each of the following channels to see if you can get a picture: 3, 4, 60, 73 If you have a digital cable that just plugs into the receiver and the TV then you will want top cycle inputs until you receive a picture. To do this press the input or source button on the side of your TV you will see the name of the input flash at the top of the screen. Press the input button multiple times to change from one input to the next. Make sure to pause on each input for a few seconds to make sure the picture comes up. My Sony KP-46WT500 screen shows the tv image in blue only for a few seconds, then it goes completely blank (as if it were off). Do I need to replace the bulbs?

It is rear projection TV that use 3 picture tubes of red-green-blue to show color picture on tv front screen.
Do you see standby red light blinking when TV shuts off after showing blue image for a while?
If red standby light is blinking, please count it how many times it blinks, there would be 3 seconds pause between blinks so count pause to pause and post it here to find out possible solution.
Thanks.

No remote tv was given to me hooked up all I got was a black

black screen means that you need to change the input or it is not hooked up correctly with the cabling. if no "input, a/v, source or tv/video" button on tv itself will need to purchase universal remote. if you do have one of those buttons continue to push it several times pausing a few seconds in between and look for a picture. also you can try channeling up or down to ch 3 or 4 or sometimes even channeling down/up will change the different inputs (depends on the tv) hope this helps

Frozen picture on LG LCD 37"

Try One of your working TVS and connect it to your cable outlet of the TV that is having problems. If that TV Does not work then there may be a degraded fitting or the Leg coming of the splitter to that outlet could have a Low Signal Problem
Next Take the First TV that was not working properly and put it on the cable outlet of one of the TVs that is working properly and if the TV set works on that Channel then you know it is not your TV that it must be the cable

Long pause changing channels

This is the muting feature. Many of these TV's use this to avoid showing noise and putting noise out to the speakers.

Run the auto-setup from the menu. This should allow the set to know the channel layout, and thus it may respond faster. Consult the user book for the auto-setup or auto-channel features.

No picture

This is most likely your Backlight on its way out. Try looking closely at the screen to see if you can still see a dim picture if so then I am 100% sure that is the fault.
