My computer wouldn't start and it is stuck in power saving mode. its LG flatron L1753S.

check the power cable, make sure you are using the correct video cable and input source and it may help if you try to use a different power cord that is confirmed working. if you use an adapter for it, verify that the adapter is working.

LG Flatron 575MS 15.1" LCD Monitor Need 24 volt power supply

alkarim 15, Are you looking for an "open frame" switcher or a "open frame" linear dc supply. Does it need to have regulated output or if linear type just brute force output. What is the current requirement of the circuit you will use with the power supply? Have you checked www.jameco.com or www.digikey.com or www.newark.com . Does it need to be AC or DC output? 12fixlouie

LG Flatron L194WT Monitor no power

It can be as simple $5 worth of caps in the power supply.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed LG monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

How to disassemble a LG LCD monitor

Hi...there,
There are 2 ways to opened it... 1: from the back, removed 4 screws and get a good grip on both open edges and pulled. Need to give it some force to it. 2: The other, it from the front bezel. First laid it face up and placed a piece of cloth or micro-fiber cloth over the screen to prevent smudges or damaged from the 4 knuckles . Then use both 8 fingers to grasp onto to edges of a bezel and lift it up with some force to it. Do the same on other side Good luck!

LG L1753S 17

If you keep any magnetic/electro magnetic objects near the monitor these kind of problem may occur, Example Speakers, mobiles.etc.,

But in you case, i hope the problem is with the hardware, Please change the Main Filter capacitor in SMPS of your monitor.

Note: It is not advisable to open the cover of the Monitor. Monitor and TVs stores power even they are disconnected so if you are not sure, please get help from a Service Engineer.
