Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Hi their could be 2 reasons this is happening it could be their is to much dust on the lense so cleaning it may solve the problem or it could mean the dvd drive needs replacing if this is the case check if you have any warranty as your covered for 3 years so check the date on the back
to clean the lense go to a computer hardware store and buy a can of compressed air then open the tray and turn the xbox off at the wall so the tray is still in the out position then give it a good spray through the small opening.
if after doing that it still dont work you could also try a lense cleaning cd also from hardware store but if that also dont work your going to need to get a new dvd drive, its not just a case of changing the drive you need to transfer the firmware off your drive onto the firmware of the new drive so its not an easy job to do.
let me know if you need further assistance ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
