Is it normal that a whirlpool oven current varies between 9.7 and 20 amps

The heating elements on any stove vary in resistance as they heat up and cool down. When cold, the elements offer more resistance thus less current flows. As the coil gets hotter, the resistance drops and greater current flow develops. The thermostat cycles the elements on and off to maintain the temperature measured in the oven, thus the cycling of power used.

Kitchen aid dryer / heat flame not staying on after 20 secs

Sounds like your gas valve is fine, if it comes on at all, its good. A air flow restriction would cause a overheat condition and shut down the burner. Once it cools back down the burner would re-ignite and repeat the cycle. The sensor on the left of the burner is the flame sensor and the flame wouldn't come on at all if it was bad. You've already changed the coil kit so the valve is fine, disconnect the vent from the back of the dryer and see if the problem goes away. If the problem stays, I would suspect the thermostat. Good luck.

I have a brand new makita hg5002k heat gun,i use it to dry the ink on the t-shirts that i print, after 1 hour of continous usage,i shut it off to switch designs in my printing machine,no more than 5 minutes...

do you make sure to cool it down after use before switching off.

if switched off imediately after using on hot, the heat from the elements will keep increasing , causing short life of heating element and maybe the gun has a thermal trip that needs to cool down before it will switch back on. This sounds like what is happening with your machine.

shutdown instructions are in the users manual.

hope this helps

Continually running/heating

Coffeemakers have two heating elements: a brew element and a keep-warm element. When the water reservoir has run empty, a thermostat switches power from the brew element to the keep-warm element.

The keep-warm element will cause the thermostat to stay in this condition until more water is added [or power is cut off] which will cool it down to switch back.

However, if the keep-warm element has quit working, the thermostat may be reactivating the brew element. With no water in the reservoir, the brew element will heat up till the thermostat trips again, then cool down, etc. This cycle will repeat until power is switched off.
