I recommend you settle in for about 2 hours, and spearespondentsk to every souls on earth that supports this product, always speak kindly, always ask questions about the person's nam....e who's talking to you and immediately write it down, always then call them by their name, make it clear that the problem is so serious that it's beyond understanding, wait out the "front line" respondents, get to the supervisors, then get the "inside track" phone numbers.... and if you do this right, you'll be awaiting the arrival of a brand new unit.

Toshiba is calling me tomorrow to apologize for being real jerks and helping me shop online for my BRAND NEW LAPTOP for FREE with an extended warranty.

In other words......work it, baby.

Roady XT "Antenna" problem

one of 3 things, either your antenna is not insight of a skies view to receive the signal, or its wire is broken at the antenna, but if you remove the antenna connection frequently it pulls the center wire out of the connection on the end that fits into the radio when its plugged in push on the conductor at the back of the plug and see if this helps, alos if connection is loose take a safety pin and carefully between the outer plug case ans the ground fingers around the center pin push these in so you get a better ground, and lastly try another substitute antenna, I have re-soldered my connections numerous times to fix this issue, delphi doesn't make a very rugged product, good luck

When I press the power button the screen flashes once & then goes blank again. Some times I see a quick flash of "XM-Radio" This started happening overnight one night-nochanges on our part.

I had exactly the same problem with my Roady XT. The power supply gradually failed, with the symptom that the reception kept getting weaker and more spotty. Finally, the Roady would not turn on. The screen flashed as you describe. I happened to have another 5VDC, 2A power supply in the closet from some other electronic gismo from the past (I save the power supplies just in case). the connector on the old power supply was not correct for the Roady XT, but a little surgery put the new plug on the old supply... (verified by a volt meter). When I plugged it in the Roady quickly turned on and showed full signal strength. This had never happened in 2 years of use. Apparently this radio needs more power than the stock power supply can provide. Now it "loads" stations in 2-3 seconds and never fades.

Can't get Roady XT to turn on. Previously wouldn't load signal.

there is a bad connection on the voltage input on the radio. look in the hole you will see a copper contact if it wore, you will see a hole in it, you needed to bend it towards the center contact just a little bit. then try it again I worked on mine

Roady xt

i figured it out with help from a delphi service rep.! you need to go into the menu and reset to factory default.this will erase everything you have changed from the factory settings, but once done you can reprogram your settings and they will stay. step 1-enter menu step 2-reset factory default settings step 3-reprogram your preset stations,FM freq. colors etc. step 4-use power button on the roady to turn it off.once the roady shuts down turn it back on with the power button. step 4-now you should be able to turn the key off without erasing your presets.

Delphi Roady XT won't turn on

Same here, it's nice to know I'm not the only one with this issue at least; but as to a way of solving this, I've found nothing.

No FM Frequency option

I had the same problem with all three of my Roady XTs. I posted a video with directions for solving the problem on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGMWf0aUTjw

Basically, you just need to have the antenna unplugged when you power up, and push menu right away, then select. Not sure why, but it worked on all of my Roady XTs. On the oldest one I had to push menu more than once. Good luck!
