Question about Pulsar Tech Gear PUA115 Wrist Watch

Open Question

My watch is solar and has stopped working - I have exposed it to light (extended) and reset time (occasionally it will work for a short time) and nothing seems to fix the problem - am I missing something/doing something wrong or is the watch defective?

SOURCE: For lack of a better

Everything other than the battery is fine. Please replace the battery as it may have outlived its life. The battery is not holding the required charge.

Watch has stopped purchased in 2011...how do I recharge...thanks!

Old watches have a spring which you must wind. Other watches have a battery which must be changed when depleted. The AUTOMATIC watches have to be worn because the mechanism acquires energy by the motion of the hand. Solar watches must be exposed to direct sunlight to recharge a battery inside the watch. While worn they must see the light occasionaly. If the watch is a solar one and you are not wearing it, do not store it in an opaque box, but in a place where it can receive light (from the sun or a light bulb.

I have a timex solar and the indiglo stoped and the wach is losing time the bat. Is new

your Timex watch is solar which means it gets power from light, you have to expose it on direct light to recharge your battery but if it not works you had to bring it to timex service center. i hope this will help you.

Pulsar Chronograph 100 m - The second hand on the left small dial (not the sweep second hand of the stop watch) has begun moving erratically. It appears to move for two counts and pause for three and then...

If your watch is solar powered the second hand performs this characteristic when it's in need of a charge. Try placing your time piece under a bright light for short time or in direct sunlight and see if this helps you with your problem.

Protrek casio watche just stoped working

Is it SOLAR?
I have a Casio Pathfinder, SOLAR, ATOMIC! They have a permanent battery!!!
It must be exposed to the sun occasionally to charge. If yours has nothing on the display, try putting it out in the sun for a day. Put it in a window, sitting on a window sill. Depending on how little charge it has, it may take as long as three days to charge.
Otherwise, the alternative is calling Casio, getting an RMA and sending it to them for a battery replacement.

I own a Citizen Eco Drive Calibre 8700 Blue dial Romen letters. I have not used it for very long time (6 months). Now when exposed to light only the second hand works but the minute hand and hour hand do...

If your watch was not stored where it could have light shining on it the LI battery would drain completely. There is a possible solution although it does not work all the time. It depends on how badly the battery has been allowed to drain.

Setup a lamp that will shine on a counter 24 hours a day and set your watch there. It helps if the lamp is about 1.5 - 2 feet above the watch. A 60 watt incand. lamp will work fine.

Leave your watch under this lamp for 3 - 4 days 24 hours a day. This will supply the solar cells with enough energy to recharge the battery and get it working again. If after this time it is still not working then the battery is just not going to accept a charge again or there is something else wrong that a watchmaker is going to have to fix for you.

Hope this helps.

Buttons on casio pro trek watch stopped working -time still shows

Sounds like the solar back up cell needs to be replaced. You can get it repaired for rather cheap less that $30(US). You can contact www.casiosalesandservice.com to have it serviced. 877.659.0761
