My husband turned the water to the machine without telling me. I put clothes in and left the room. about ten minutes later it beeped and I saw the problem. I turned on the water but can't get it to fill. I tried to cancel and it won't cancel. I can't even get the door open. What can I do?

You have a faulty main board, my advice to you is buy an good old machine with crook seals, pull it to pieces and you have a bag of spare parts. Replace the old electronic control module with the one you pulled to bits. Not much goes wrong other pumps and solenoids.

Duet steam dryer soaked clothes and had alot of water setting in drumclothes were dry and wrinkled when i put them in the dryer 5 minutes later they were soaked.

Turn off the water or disconnect the water hose to your dryer.
Call your serviceman and tell him to order a new water solonoid for your dryer.
You can dry without the water hooked up to the dryer.
The steam cycles, however, will not have steam due to the absence of water.

Whirlpool washer won't rinse or spin w/o manually turning knob

It is most likely that you have a faulty water inlet valve. Some machines have a seperate valve for rinse to flush in a fabric softener I suspect that your detergent flushing valve is faulty.....Good luck Nomess

I have a HE5t kenmore elite front loading washer. It has done great for about 15 months. We were away for about 3 weeks, and since we have returned, I put in a load of clothes, and it tries to start...

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.

Getting F02 error, machine stops part way in & beeps.

Thank you so much for posting your solution of the F02 error code. I was having the same problem and noticed that my clothes smelled like mold and I didn't understand why. Anyway, my husband "cleaned the filter". He found four socks.
Awhile back, I noticed that I was missing a lot of socks. One day I pulled the gray flap in the washer and found around 15 socks! I now check that flap after every wash.

Again, thanks for posting your solution. It was an easy fix and it saved us $$.
