take back panel off freezer and check for ice build up which will block air flow and temps will rise. melt off carefully with a hairdryer.make sure drain is also clear and use hot water and patience if blocked with ice. if fault re-occurs, you have a fault with defrost system

SOURCE: fridge freezer
there is a fan inside freezer behind back panel. if pipework behind panel is covered with ice, it will prevent air circulation and the fridge is affected first
take back panel off and check for ice build-up and that the fan is working

make sure that the vents between the freezer and box are not frozen..check to see if the fan in the freezer is working(evaporator fan)..check timer and defrost heater,,

Either the repair guy did not wire up the heater correctly or he replaced the wrong part, if the heater was good it was likley to be the defrost thermostat...I would call the repair guy back to check.

You have a defrost problem. Most likley a defrost heater if it's a side by side. If you unload the freezer so that you can get to the inside back wall, take the screws out of the inside back wall. Remove the panel from the back wall. Take a hair dryer and melt the ice that has formed behind the panel. (DO NOT USE A SHARP OBJECT TO CHIP ICE OUT) You can then see the defrost heater. If you put it back together the refrig, will work correctly for around three days. If the heaters are glass, you will be able to see if they are broken or the filliment is broken inside. If so you will need new ones. You will need the make, model number and serial number. to buy the new part.
