My GE Spacemaker Microwave oven does not heat up. Every other thing works. Model JVM1640

HI, when the Magnetron becomes unstable, the microwave will not heat anything. simply replace the Magnetron. This device creates the heating action and it is damaged and not functional at this time.

Check High voltage rectifier diode if it is ok replace the Magnetron.

Probally the belt is broken on fan up at the top.

maybe your magnetro is leaky

I have the same problem. Everything seems to work except it doesn't heat up food.
I remember last time when it was working. I pressed the start botton before I closed the door. So it didn't start automatically, and I pushed start and it worked(it still heat up the food), but it doesn't work now. Help Please!!!
I have a Whirlpool Gold GH5184XPQ.
