In some monitors there is a HUD display, there you can reset the board, or program that control colors and other settings, also you can press if is available, a botton that automatic change colors, RGB, cinema, movies, games, etc.

New e machiune to older fpd2275w gateway monitor ...problem is all the color is hazed over with a blueish tone? what can i do?...thanks

There is most likely a missing connection on the cable, so unplug the cable from your computer and the monitor (if you can) and make sure that none of the pins are bent or look pushed back into the plug. if they do than you can try to adjust them back to strait and flush or take the cable in to your local electronics store and tell them that you need a new one, they will help you with that. or you can mess with the display settings, usually a button on the front. in those settings you will be looking for the color options and it will either give you presets or let you choose a custom setting, if you have a custom option there should be a blue slider that you can adjust to fix the blue hue.

I cannot adjust the color on the screen. Too Blue

mcdevito75 here, On the monitor itself press the auto button for factory settings, if this doesn"t work, press the menu button for adjusting contrast, color etc. if this doesn"t work your monitor may be going bad.

My gateway monitor keeps shuting off and going to a black screen. Its only on for 2 seconds what do I do

Since yours supports both Analog VGA (blue plugs) and Digital - DVI (white plugs), you need to adjust your monitor settings in concert with the video input signal that you're receiving.

In addition, you may need to work with your operating system -- Microsoft, Mac, Linux, etc. to adjust its settings.

If you have Windows, then you might want to consult this manual to guide you through Windows and monitor adjustments.

The monitor has now got a blue tint I have checked the lead

Your monitor has a menu system that will allow you to access the color guns so you can adjust the red, blue, green guns that create the color picture.

The blue tint may indicate that you need to adjust teh reg and green to offset OR it may indicate that you have lost the red gun all together.

If this is an older monitor and you are considering repair... cost points say it is cheaper to buy a monitor ~$60 bucks

Monitor color problem

there should be color adjustments in your menu.
also i don't think its the cable if its blue, cuz, if you was miss just blue it would not be blue. and if you had red and green it would not be blue. some video cards have settings to adjust the color in the driver settings or display properties. good luck.

Cmv monitor bad color

The problem is your monitor, not driver or settings or video adapter cards. You have basically two options get another CRT or LCD display, or if it is still under warranty call the company get a "Return Authorization Number" and ship it back to the manufacturer. I did that with a NEC MUltisync 19" years ago, it turned red, there was little ability to actually change the red image at all. cI Shipped it back to NEC and it has worked ever since. Good luck with your monitor.
