Problem for TruTech PVS31170S1W 17 in. LCD Television

My specific model is not listed on the website and that leads me to believe that it is no longer made. The unit went black while watching, the remote does not work it, and the powe light flashes on and off. I replaced the remote batteries, tried using the manual power switch, unplugged it, and still nothing.

Is there a part that I can order and replace myself? I have only had this unit for a year and a half or so.

The issues with LCD tv's these days are capacitor related, this will produce all the symptoms listed in this problem area. It is a simple fix for techs who can solder.

I was able to fix this problem by replacing some capacitors. robert.hirsch@sbcglobal.net
