FOR WEBCAM Driver follow :

1. Downloaded the file.
2. Unzipp it to a folder on my desktop.
3. Run the "Setup.exe" file in the folder that got unzipped.
4. Go through the installer until it got to the end and then let it restart my computer.
5. Wait for computer to restart.
6. It should pop up something saying it was installing the drivers for my webcam. Wait until it was done.
7. Open the Control Panel.
8. Open the Device Manager.
9. You shoud find webcam under "Imaging Devices". It may be listed as "HP Pavilion Webcam" despite having just installed the Acer drivers.
10. Right-clicked on my webcam and chose "Update Driver Software..."
11. Chose "Browse my computer for driver software"
12. Chose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
13. Unchecked the "Show compatible hardware" checkbox.
14. Scrolled down to the Chicony manufacturer.
15. Chose the "Acer Crystal Eye webcam.
16. Tell it to install anyway when it asked me a question about installing that driver.
17. Wait for the driver to be installed.
18. Webcam was now listed as an Acer Crystal Eye webcam in Device Manager.

This is it :)

Check that for some LAPTOPS, you need to install AUDIO driver 1st then Video driver.
    Check this once.

Did you get the 64 bit or 32 bit driver? ... which version is your computer?...... also make sure that the device is not giving any error codes in the device manager and , that the sound is selected as the system default

Realtek download page. There is a search option for audio part number.

Sometimes their driver links loop back, so try again till it gets you the download.

you shouldn't have a problem, Vista uses Realtek high definition audio, assuming this is the sound make you use you need to install the normal Realtek audio driver, see below:-

Hello,
You can download drivers from here to your laptop.

The windows xp driver is on the third page :
RealTek Audio Driver v5.10.0.5273
Windows XP
AS5050_Audio.zip

and the windows vista driver is right below that on the same page:
Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for Windows Vista
Windows Vista
Realtek High Definition Audio Driver.zip

Cheers,
Lolita

Acer OrbiCam not working (acer aspiral9412zwsmi)

Has it worked in the past, on this computer?
Have you recently upgraded to Vista?

Here is a suggestion:
There are two software entities involved – the camera Drivers and the OrbiCam application itself

The new driver and a new version of webcam application (below)

The correct files to download are:
Acer Orbicam driver (Bison)
Acer Orbicam Bison utility 1.0.0.13

These can be found here under the MS Windows Vista drop down menu:
http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_9300.html
You need to download and install them both.

Acer orbicam and the audio stoped working

Try to get driver from acerpanam.com, i believe there are 3 type of orbicam, you have to try one by one,
Try to update the driver for audio too
Hope this will solve your problem
