Question about HP Compaq Presario V2000 Notebook
I have what appears to be a common problem, My Compaq V2000 is dead. I checked the power supply, 18.4 volts. I checked the power jack seems to ok solder joints look good. I have voltage going into the board. Checked at the battery terms. only one pin on end opposit the big term is 3.8 volts. I have not checked it with a charged battery.
I also have a v2000 which has suffered the fate in the passed, unfortunately as i'm sure you've already read you will probably require a replacement system board.
