Question about Refrigerators
I had this exact same problem. I replaced the PCB on the freezer. Cost approximately $100.00. Problem solved. No flashing door light, no fluctuations in temperature. Installation is really easy so do it yourself and save yourself money on a tech. Remove the whole panel, from freezer door, with something like a thin spatula and prise off gently. If you work around you can feel the clips and unclip them one at a time. (That's the hardest part) Replacing the PCB is easy. Just one plug.

Look to the freezer side for the possible problem. If the freezer evaporator coil is freeing up due to a defect in the defrost system the refrigerator temperature will be the first place it will show. Look for frost build-up on the freezer back wall.
