Sorry, Sonny. I don't have an answer. But I have a question for you. My local pawn shop has a v7773D for sale. But they don't have a remote control. Do you know if one is available?

Sounds ok but not dialogue...

It sounds to me like you are using the receiver in surround sound mode and the click you hear is the center channel turning off. If you have another center channel speaker, try swapping that for the one you are currently using. If that doesn't fix the issue, then try replacing the speaker wire. If that still doesn't fix it, then the issue is probably inside the receiver and may be either an output transistor that is failing when hot or an electrolytic capacitor that allows too much DC offset when hot.

Check if the Source Input selection is selected correctly if in doubt select Tuner and check it could be that the Mute function is enabled

try www.support-and-drivers.com- they claim to have driver upgrades for this system. you should have mentioned that this system is a home audio/video thx setup. makes a big difference- at least it did back in the day! b&w, change the channel! adjust the rabbit ears! the horizontal hold\'s screwing up again! think a tube just blew! etc.!!

Kenwood krf v73000d mute won't go off

Is there a "tape monitor" button by chance? If this is turned on, it will mute your audio as well.

My surround sound system is making intermittent thumping noises. It used to only do it when we shut it off, a few minutes later it would thump a few times. Now, it is doing it when its on. Why is it doing...

I had the same problem with my Kenwood KRF 5060d
First just sometimes I used to hear this noise click clack from the device while the sound disappeared. Then the problem became more frequent and no mere bearable.

So I've tryed to restablish the weldings on the board in correspondence to the speakers connections and the relay connections. Nothing changed, so I've substituted the relay OMRON G5PA 28 NW 12VDC 2 contacts normally open (6 pins) with the new FINDER 40.52 (8 pins) letting free the 2 pins for the normally close contacts.

Now my KRF 5060d is working properly with the only problem that sometimes the dispaly disappear and I have to apply a little pression on it with my fingers in order switch it on. Maybe I've compromised some contacts in the frontal pannel while unmounting even if it wasn't necessary.

Nad 712 output issues - Mute flashing

The only thing I can tell you for sure is that the mute indicator always flashes (very dimly) when the receiver is off.  I have no idea why, but mine has always done this.

Yamaha RX-V793 flashing light on volume control and no volume

Per Yamaha support page: The volume light on my Yamaha AV receiver is flashing, what does this mean ? The "MUTE" function on your remote control has been activated. The reason that you can still hear a very low sound is that the muting circuit within your stereo is not a full mute, but rather a -20dB mute. To deactivate the "MUTE" function, simply press the "MUTE" button on your remote control. (Make sure the volume control is turned down to avoid damage to your system.) If you misplace or lose your remote control, you will have to purchase a new remote control unit, as there is no duplicate function on the front panel of your stereo. Unplugging the stereo will not deactivate the muting circuit, as the microprocessor "remembers" if the muting circuit was active prior to being turned off or unplugged. If you need to purchase a remote control, you may order one directly from our parts office. You may reach them by dialing (714) 522-9888 from 8 am to 3 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. If you have any other questions, please contact our customer service department by dialing (800) 292-2982 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
