Question about Invacare Pronto M51 Power Wheelchair
RShappa On the right hand side of your seat there is a black lever. Carefully pull up on the lever and try to lift the seat from the seat post. Now it is probably rusty or stuck try turning or twisting the seat as you hold the lever up and pull up at the same time By working the seat back and forth and pulling you should be able to get some upward movement from the seat. Keep at it and you should eventually be able to get it off. If you can get someone to help then it would be easier on you. Don't forget to unplug the joystick cable at the rear of the chair from the cable attached to the seat. This you don't want to break or stretch. Now when you get the seat off and the batteries replaced grease the post really well to help the next time you need to get it off. Hope this helps you
