Do you have the auto-circ recirculation pump with timer?
If so, here is manual for that specific product:
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;}
Manual gives instructions for a different timer dial than timer than shows on unit, so they must come with different dials.

Instructions say pegs pulled out = timer on
Conversely, pegs pushed in = timer off
You might be able to hear the pump operating to see if these instructions are correct for your recirculation timer. The kids would love a listening assignment under the sink.

To see images showing how recirculation system operates:

Setting times:
Try 1/2 hour ON in morning and 1/2 hour ON in evening. Warm water will stay in pipe for a while.

Recirculation system with timer costs $10-17 per year to operate, assuming timer runs 1 hour per day with electric prices at 10 cents per kilowatt hour. Operation cost is straight line ... so if timer runs 2 hours per day, cost is $20-34 per year at 10 cents per Kwh.

Water saved might equal 5 gallons per day, or 1825 gallons per year depending on usage. Average water wasted waiting for hot water is 1/2- 2/3 gallon depending on length of pipe. Set a bucket under spigot to test your home when circulation system is not ON.

Cost of water depends on local billing rate. The municipality saves purifying water, pumping water to your home, and finally pumping and processing sewage drainwater.

If you are on a water well, the pump electricity from saving 2000 gallons a year is a dollar or two per year since water well generally consumes less than 1Kwh per day for ordinary house.

T8845pv Timer ignores pin up for no water day

I think this is how it should operate:
When the day skipper pin is pushed down on skipper-wheel....
... the day skipper pin pushes a lever away from trippers... so the trippers will not engage the lever ... and the day of watering is skipped.

Turn power OFF.
Take off plastic cover over the wiring terminals.
See if that is how it works, and look to see if something is missing.
Here is close up based on Intermatic image of 14-day skipper wheel, and you can see (what I assume) is the skipper pin pushing a lever.

Attach close-up photo of your timer.
If you have digital camera, set to macro or tulip icon for close ups... otherwise phone cameras don't give clear view unless lighting is good.

Assuming the timer is defective... I am not certain of Intermatic's warranty policy... except they have 1 year full warranty, and could send just the timer mechanism so you do not have to replace the box... steps: take photo of wiring, disconnect wires, snap or screw new timer into existing box, reconnect wires, and then send defect back to

Whirlpool washer won't wash or spin or dump water

usually a broken lid switch if it fills with water and then nothing, set the timer on spin and pull out the timer, open the lid and stick a screw driver into the hole where the plastic acuator on the lid goes into the hole and push down easily and see if washer will run this is where the lid switch is and it's only a safety switch so when the lid is open the washer won't run,if not push up and down on the switch and listen for a clicking sound,no click switch is bad part number 285671,watch video

Gardena t14 manual swich button is stuck . Cannot program timer

There is no magic cure for plastic, battery-operated, digital, water timers that are exposed to weather.
Try spraying WD40 on the button.
Turn timer upside down and spray WD40 again so debris can work it's way out of timer button.
Keep a cover over timer, do not expose to direct hot sun, and do not expose to freezing water or inner plastic valves will break.
Buy another timer.

I have a 16 amp Legrand electrical timer cat 037 30 on my hot water system. How do I program it?

Legrand 037 30 is vertical analog timer similar to hagar EH 010
Open following link for illustration how to set and wire timer.

Hours of the day appear on timer dial as you rotate dial around.
Hagar timer you push segments left for ON times, and right for OFF times.
To set current time, manually rotate 24-hour timer dial until current time lines up with mark.

You can also move some of the segments to the right and leave rest of segments to the left.
Then manually rotate timer dial several rotations with thumb while listening to the hot water system turn on-and-off, or use tester to test power at terminals 3 and 4 or use tester at hot water system.
If timer has override lever, then move lever to each position and repeat test by rotating dial with each switch setting.

All of the white pegs on the outside of the dial are on and off times. If they are pushed out they are on and pushed toward the center is off. You want to set those for the times you would usually used hot water. There is a white arrow on the face. You want to rotate the face clockwise until the time of day is infront of the arrow to set the time. Last but not least there is a switch on the right side of the dial it has three settings, on off and timer. If you set it to the clock the pump will turn on and off at the times that were selected on the face. You can also turn it to the constant on position and it will run constantly. I would suggest flipping it to constant on and wait a few minutes to see if it fixes your hot water problems. If not the pump might be bad.

Black Peg on timer

We just used to use a sliver of bamboo, just make a piece and sand it down, bit by bit, until it is a Tight fit in the hole you want about 5mm to protrude, through the bottom, that is what "Trips" the "Contacts" inside. So anything similar will work too. Just remember whatever you use, has to protrude a little bit inside the face of the Dial. & be strong enough, not to break when pushing the Contact.
