The details of that board are sorta sketchy, it could be an intel 810 series or 815 series. theres really no way to tell except by opening it up and looking for the largest exposed ic chip with intel stamped on it, and look for an 810 or 815 designation on that chip.

if its an 810, it may not support pc133 ram, depending on the exact 810 model. if its an 810, it also will not support more than 256 total ram.

if its an 815, it will accept 512 total ram, if not more; however, you will have to go with no more than 4 ram sides- meaning, if you have 2 double-sided ram sticks, you will not be able to add anymore. if you have 2 single sided sticks, and a 3rd ram slot open, you may be able to add a double sided stick in the empty slot for 1+1+2=4 ram sides.

Hi can I add 2G ram for this mother board

Yes. When the manual was created 1GB pc133 sdram modules weren't available yet, but they said when they did come out that the bios would support them so the max ram you can have is 3GB.

Here is an excerpt from the manual:
System Memory Type/Speed SDRAM DIMM - PC133 Only
Current Maximum Memory 1.5-GB
Maximum Memory 3-GB (when 1-GB PC133 SDRAM
are available)
Memory Parity Not Supported
ECC Memory Supported (Intel 845 chipset does not support
mixing of Non-ECC and ECC PC133 memory)

Dell Optiplex GX110 currently runs 128mb sdram pc125 cl3.0 . Am I correct to assume maximum upgrade would be 2 x 256mb sdram pc133 non-ecc unbuffered 3.3v ? Maximum memory per slot being 256mb ? Is my...

If I remember correctly, that Dell has two memory module slots, so 2 512 mb modules of non-ecc pc133 memory is the max that the system board will allow.
This is controlled by the system board chipset, and not by the bios.

My QDI advance 9 doesnt accept 256 mb pc133, i have single and duo sidded 256 mb pc133 and the maximum it gives to me is 128 mb per slot.

Go to this link http://www.epinions.com/S0478496-Advance_9/display_~full_specs
It shows that the Max Memory that it supports is 768mb, It is possible that the memory doesn't want to work together.

Try putting them in, leaving a slot open in the middle. Duo module in slot 0 and single in slot 1.
If doesn't work try the opposite way around.

your timely rating of this soloution is much appreciated.
Thanks

How to install 2gb RAM ? I currently have 512.

Your board has three 164 pin DIMM slots and will accept 1 GB modules (at the largest) in each slot (Max 3 GB).

Look for PC133 164 pin DIMM modules and consult your manual for correct configuration. A 1 GB module in the first and second slot would give you 2 GB of RAM.

Can't upgrade memory

According to the user manual for your laptop, it can only support pc-100 memory. If your going to upgrade your memory just make sure you use pc-100 and also the max amount of memory is 256mb in each slot so you would be maxed out at 512MB.

You can verify the info from this link from Dell:
