Question about Kenmore Refrigerators
The reason this happens is because if the ice sits there too long it starts to merge together into one big clump. Also there can be a drip right along the back of the cube holder, so that there would always be an icicle there. Try reducing the flow of water into the icemaker and that should help. You can also try moving the box out a bit.
