Ok, yes it sounds like an electrical problem for sure, but remotely it is impossible to know what wire could be the problem.. Have you had any luck with tracing the continuity?

How do you start 1993 bass tracker?

Bass Tracker? Bass Boat? If its a tiller motor, yank the rope until it starts, or, your arms fall off, whichever comes first! If its electric start, check your batteries are good & fully charged. Make sure your "kill" switch is connected & you're in neutral. Turn the key. In fact make sure you're in neutral for the tiller motor also.

Victory service manual

Have you checked the battery? Is the indicator saying that the unit is powered up? If so, then you have power to the tiller. (If not, then you need to check the cables that connect to the battery.) Assuming that you have power to the tiller and the unit will not do anything you may have an issue with the speed controller located on the tiller that allows you to forward and reverse. Go to Home to find a part. If you can test this part and find that it is ok then you have either a electronic controller issue or your motors are fried. You would need at least a Digital multi-meter to check these out. Remember to remove the part you are testing from the circuit by disconnecting the battery. Warning! The units can have residual charges in them. If you do not know how to handle electric circuits I would suggest taking it to a professional to repair.

Pride colt . fully charged batteries but no power to lights indicators or drive

hi, okay have you checked the fuses located on the tiller stem normally located under a black plastic cover ?

Your batteries may be fully charged but the voltage is not enough to power up the controller, sigh of a dodgy charger ? , bad batteries ? ? check the battery voltage , should be at least 24volts
The horn will work as it bypasses the controller logic.

Scooter won't move

Things to check: Drive/Free wheeling switch, brake release lever (this activates an internal micro-switch that enable power to the drive system, battery box connectors (condition of contacts - corroded, missing, loose. etc.); main control cable (corrosion. lose or missing pins, etc). If all these are OK, could be controller or drive control potentiometers (speed, forward, backward) on the handle-bar (tiller).
Good luck!

It just clicks when i try to start it, wont turn over

ureCheck battery charge it should have 12 to 13 volts if it is fully charged.Check all electrical connections from battery to starter and ground wires. Check the solinoid ,it must make a good electrical connection internally to make the starter motor run.If you are getting at least 12 volts to the starter motor and it still wont turn the starter may be bad. Also be sure that the engine can be rotated normally.

What do elect.start wires hook to on 80s 5 horse

maybe there are for the Switch? to the solenoid, that engages the contacts to switch through to the starter. Usually it goes from the battery, to a solenoid, that breaks the Power to - from the battery to the actual "Starter motor". try to "Trace" them out and see where they go. just a thought?

Shop rider sovereign voltage indication. Brand new fully charged

hi Richard,

Does the scooter actually lose power after the 3 leds show ?

If it is losing power then a suggest to try some other batteries to confirm dodgy batteries, check the terminal connections etc.

If it does not lose power then the volt meter is at fault, if you can check the voltage before riding then after it shows only 3 leds , if there is a big drop, check the charger first to make sure the batteries are getting fully charged.
