Question about Procom (177653) Utility Heater
Many times the thermocouple will build up so corrosion where it seats into the gas valve. This will cause the heater to just go out at random time. When the pilot goes out it will turn the gas valve off so no gas will escape from the valve.
Try cleaning the end of the thermocouple and see it that takes care of your problem.

you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.
the pilot generator or the pilot head itself is the issue. You need a good,
solid blue flame across the generator to get enough power to hold the switch
open when you let go of the knob. If the pilot flame is week or not aimed
across the generator it will not stay lit.
it is but the generator is old and weak, it will go out as well. If you can see
the pilot flame and it is a nice blue color, replace the generator. If it is
not, disassemble the pilot and either clean it out or replace it.
