This message means the fuser is not heating to the proper temperature. The fuser will more that likely need to be replaced. But considering cost it might be more cost effective to replace the machine.

Better take it to professional service because it could be failed fuser which you can't do nothing about yourself. In any case, be sure to check out the user manual for additional info

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi, I am getting an error message on my Brother fax 2920 saying Drum error. I have tried changing the drum unit but no luck?

Ok so changing the drum has not resolved the problem. I suspect you have a bad contact between the machine and the drum. Its been a while since i have worked on a 2920 but i remember a case of a drum problem which turned out to be a poor contact from one of the contacts on the left side of the machine. Also take another look inside where the drum sits and you will see two runners that are spring loaded. the drum rests on these and i have known the springs to jump out and the runners have become stuck. of course this allows the drum to sit incorrectly and that may cause the error.
If no joy then let me know where you are located.

Good luck

Item: Brother fax 2920 super g3 33.6 Kbps We are trying to change an existing one-touch/speed-dial number but cannot operate the cursor? email address: sue@eurotubes.co.uk

I saw your question on fixya.com. I am having the exact same problem. Are you getting 3 beeps when you try to operate the cursor? Apparently this means one of the buttons is stuck and the you have to clean the buttons with a wipe and try to "unstick" them. I have cleaned mine but unfortunately the problem remains unsolved I hope you will / have had better luck. To get help from Brother ring: 0161 615 6200

Brother fax 2920 error message displaying "rear door open" door is firmly closed , fax still showing error message ?

Look very carefully at the area, Most likly there is a sensor not being flaged. So check for any broken plastic tabs or it just my be an adjustment were a sensor was bent back or pushed out of place on a jam removal.

No manual to "Brother Super G3 336kbps IntelliFax-2920"

It is telling you the fuser unit needs replacement. Thats the heater that fuses the toner particles to the paper by heating them. If it cannot reach the correct tempurature the toner comes right off the paper.

So you will need to order a fuser wire kit to fix that error. That can be fairly expensive on a brother. I believe somewhere around $150 and up.

I can at least help you get a replacement manual. This link takes you to the downloads for your printer and you can then download the various manuals.

Brother Intellifax 2800 --message turn off and call Brother

what you want to do is unplug for a couple of minutes while checking to make sure there is paper jammed anywhere in the machine, remove all your paper from supply as well. then time how long it take to warm up or the error code comes up.
