I'm having trouble installing my printer. Its a Lexmark Z735 color jetprinter. I have windows vista. Can anyone assist me? Thankyou

Unfortunately, the printer is not compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Vista operating system anymore. The drivers available are for Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000 only. I Hope I can assist you more on this.

Install the driver for the printer which is for Windows Vista.

Please follow te steps given below to install the Z735 printer driver:
1. Login to www.Lexmark.com
2. Click on "DRIVERS & DOWNLOADS" and then click on "Driver Finder."
3. Under "Search by Model" please type "Lexmark Z735 Color Jetprinter" and click "SEARCH."
4. Under "Select Your Operating System" select the Operating System that you have on your computer(Windows 2000,Windows XP, Windows Vista,etc).
5. Click on "DOWNLOAD NOW."
6. On the pop up window click on save and save the file to you Desktop.
7. Once the Download is complete the installion will Automatically run, please follow the instruction and you will be able to install the printer.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then ifyou get in troubles, followthe instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:someprinterdoes not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver downloadfor Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vistacompatible.
