I bought a Nuvi 760 and have spent all day updating the maps, the device itself, etc. It will not let me enter any addresses. I want to enter my home address, it will not let me. I want to enter an address for a destination - it says "no data found". When I try to choose an intersection, "no data found" - I can't navigate because I can't enter anything!

This means is that the map file inside your Nuvi 350 is corrupted and the device can not read it anymore. We will need to update your map by plugging it into the computer. First thing you should know, with this problem that you are encountering most likely you will will need to send the unit back to Garmin to reload the map data onto the device, but I am going to try a few things with you to try to get it functioning again ok?
First thing to try is go to this webpage: Garman Map Updater, click on the "Check for updates" It will bring you to a new page, where you might need to install a plug in. It is okay to install the plug in and is nessesary.
If a map update is found you should be able to follow the instructions to update your map.
Next I would like you to download "webUpdater" which updates the actual software on your device.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate
your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about
Check in Settings -> Map -> Map Info to see which map(s) currently are installed, perhaps only a small part of the region got installed. When updating map material the unit will erase all old map material from the unit, so if you had a larger area than the one you updated to, then only the newer smaller area would be installed, and thus searchable.
If you have MapSource on your PC and the new map update installed there too, you can try to search for the same address there and see if you're able to find the address then.
I had the same issue..what a pain in the ****. I came up with a solution that worked for me. After the update i deleted gmapprom.img and then created my own map using the garmin MapInstall program. start>programs>garmin>mapinstall
