Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Pics won't assign on my RAZR

I just bought a new external memory card so i could store more pics on my razr. It was working great until a little while ago when i let my phone die completely. It died, I plugged it in to the charger, I turned it on .. and the screen was blank. My pics are still saved on the phone and everything works, but my pictures won't assign to any contacts or my wallpaper. There's just a greyish/white screen. The time and date still show and everything. I just can't figure out what's going on with the pics.

I'm not the biggest wiz on this thing. So .. how do you do all that?

  • Stewchunk May 26, 2008

Ok. Well i have a razr V3m ... When i go to settings .. there is no initial settings option.

  • Stewchunk May 26, 2008

ok .. i went to settings .. used the last 4 digits of my phone number and that was the code. I see options for erase my content, erase my personal dictionary, reset phone, format external memory .. among some others that didn't look relevant. Should i do reset phone?

ok .. it's fixed now after resetting my phone and formatting the memory card. Thank you so much!!

Master clear you phone and format the memory card. Before doing that back up all your contacts and other necessary data.

Then find out where it is written master clear............ it must be i settings menu. Or may be written factory reset.

I have a Droid maxx phone that I love its camera. Takes great pics. How do you transfer the pics to a dell notebook I just purchased?

That phone has a 16GB microSD card which can be removed and inserted into a PC with an adapter. Hopefully your pix are stored there. Not sure you have a card insert on your Notebook, but if not, buy an adapter to convert to USB. Look up in the user manual how to transfer pix off off 16GB internal memory or contact Motorola customer service.

I have a razr 2 and have recently taken some photos and would like to transfer them to my pc, how can I do that?

I am sure the razr 2 accepts some type of memory card. You can transfer the pics from phone memory to the card memory and then remove the card and by using an approprite adapter and card reader you can connect it to your PC and transfer the photos. If you are unable to this then you can tranfer the pics using bluetooth dongle.

Transferring Photo's off Motorola RAZR

Use Windows Explorer - START > right click > Select explore.
Now scroll down on the left panel until you see the entry for your mobile. Click the (+) next to the entry to expand. Scroll down to the appropriate folder and copy all the pics you want to transfer. (right click, copy. For multiple selections, hold down the CTRL key and click on the pics you want one by one)
Now select the folder on your PC where you want to copy the pics to, and right click -paste them there.

If you want to copy to SD Card, Select image and select more options > move to > memory card.
However, you may have to do this for each photo individually. The previous method is easy and fast..

Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

How to download my pictures off my motorola V3 phone to my Vista Computer

If all you did was have your provider activate a new phone then the pictures on your old phone should still be there. If, on the other hand, you had the provider activate the old phone to a different number they may be gone.

I'm a bit confused from your post. Are you saying your old phone was a Razr and the new phone is a Razr too?

Does the old phone allow you to use a memory card? The easiest thing to do, assuming you cannot locate the software, would be to buy an inexpensive memory card that fits into your old phone then transfer the images to the memory card. There are adapters you can purchase for a few $$ that will allow you to plug this little memory card into a USB port on your PC.

Let me know if you need more help.
