Hmmm..well..then you'll need someone to open up the whole unit, and remove it very it under warranty?

I have the toshiba satellite L670 laptop do I need a memory card reader

Depends these models are can be custom made. If this is no card reader slots on the outside/back of it then yes. But spending $10 for a USB reader isn't that bad. (newegg)

I would like to know where i insert my memory card from my camera into my laptop

First of all, not all laptops have the ability to read memory cards. Look all around your laptop (sides, front, back) for something similar to this (the slots, not the device itself):

Obviously, if you don't see any slots like these, your laptop does not support media cards. However, you can purchase a USB media card reader (such as the one above) for usually $15-20.

Hope this helps - please be sure to rate my answer :)

you can only get that by going to and looking up accessories by model number..should be listed there.

or there will be a configuration option for your model there.

Wat is toshiba flash card

"FLASH" generally denotes a compact storage device called
Compact Flash Card. I have an old digital camera that takes compact flash cards.

Newer Toshiba Laptops and Towers have multi card readers installed, my laptop has a SD card reader under my PCMCIA card slot. I also had a (Made for Toshiba) compact flash adapter. That device was nice because it wasn't "Card Bus" it used 8-16 bit technology making it easy to transfer data from a laptop running windows 3.1 to a laptop running Vista
