SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

How can i get a new cd to download lost mine that came with the DS6320 model

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

When I turn my camera on now it says "no image",A child pushed every button on every menu item I think. Before this happened I had taken about 60 pictures and most of them had the protection lock...

I had success with this:
1. Remove the memory card and then connect the memory card to computer with a card reader, or insert the memory card to card slot if there's any on computer.
2. Download asoftech photo recovery program from
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/
3. In asoftech photo recovery program, scan the memory card and recover your photos.

Please help,i ve lost my cd and cannot download any photos from my camera to the laptop, thank you

The easiest way is to remove the memory card from your camera and plug it into the appropriate card reader on your computer or external reader (if you have one or are willing to spend a little to get one). Otherwise you can plug the camera into your computer with the USB cable that came with it.
Either way, after a few seconds your computer should recognize the new device. It may pop up a notification window asking you if you want to import the pictures automatically (you can if you want).

To transfer them manually, open two windows of "My computer". Navigate one to the folder where you would like to move the pictures to as a destination. In the other one, open up the folder named after your camera or the memory card. Copy the pictures from your card to the destination folder. A lot of times the pictures will be in a folder called something like DCIM on the card / camera.
You can also go to the manufacturer's site and search for your model and see if they still offer the software as a download.

Please leave feedback if you found this helpful.

Lost my canon powershot sx200is manuel; how can I get another copy----how do I delete pictures from camera? my camera is only about 30 days old.

Canon does not have the manual for download. Canon will provide you a new manual for a reasonable price. Go to Canon.com (or .ca) for ordering info.
Deleting pictures all at once on a memory card camera is called 'Format'. Be aware that format removes even locked (protected) pictures. Be CERTAIN your pictures have all downloaded before you format. Unplug the camera from the computer to 'Format'. The Canon software has a preferences setting for 'Delete pictures from camera', I THINK...

Locked usually means the slide switch on the side of the card is in the locked position...just move it. You can copy and paste the following address in your browser to download a copy of the owner's manual to your computer. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=323&modelid=11158

Try removing the SD card from the camera and slide the lock switch on the side of the card to the unlock position.

Coby digital picture frame

should be able to use a memory stick or card. upload from computer onto stick/card, insert into frame & will upload pix. some frames have a USB cord that connects directly to the computer as well, if so, you can plug it into the computer (& the frame), and upload the pix you want on the frame from there (sometimes there's a program on your computer that will assist you, sometimes you just do it manually).

If this doesn't help you, please see:
http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=doc

This is the Coby website. You input the product & it will pull up all available documentation for it. Sometimes the manuals are available online.

If I've been helpful, please let me know w/ a scoring.

Thanks.
