When I try to change my flash setting, I get a "Flash settings cannot be changed" message on the screen. It doesn't matter what setting I've selected, it does it for all.

Some modes don't permit flash changes...try a different mode to see if the problem is still there.

Hello sir. when i go through my nokia e52 to control pannel - setting - connection - destinations : i got a message "system error " please give me a solution

From you end, you can try resetting the phone to it's default value, means "Factory Default". Open Menu, go to settings, navigate around and locate Factory Default. The steps should be like this.. Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings and General > Factory Settings.. Open the Factory Settings, press ok and then enter 12345 when you are prompted to enter the security code. I hope you haven't changed the code yet, if you've changed it, enter the code you've already changed. Once it's confirmed, the phone will restart itself. You'll loose nothing by doing this, but all settings will be restored to it's default value. This is the basic and in most cases, this fixes minor issues. If this doesn't help you, you may likely need to update your phone software or you may need to flash your phone, to do these, you'll need to visit a Nokia Care or a Local mobile repair shop.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W90. When I try to change the flash settings, a notification pops up on the screen saying, "Flash settings cannot be changed." I tried setting it in each mode (including Auto)...

Go to Menu/ Home and initialize camera to reset it for factory default settings to fix flash light settings bug.
If problem still not solved, let me know do you see any error code flashing in top right corner of lcd?

Screen says 'can not change flash settings'

if you need a manual go here
on page 50 is has a chart showing when the flash is used, or not available. P S A M all make it available, in Scene, or the one with the mini camera, it is not adjustable. If it will not work in PSA or M then it will need to have a tech look at it, Please try changing modes first and let us know if this was your problem.

My sanyo digital camera doesnt want to flash no matter how many times i push the button

Try checking the camear setting to see if the "Flash" is enabled.
There are a number of choices.
For exmaple you can make the camera flash no matter what, You can make it flash only when there is insufficient light, You can turn it off.
And, if your camera has the red eye feature it flashes twice if you select that setting.
Hopefully you just inadvertently changed this setting

Flash settings Sony DSC-H7

I had the same problem with my DSC-H9. The flash setting is set off when in BURST record mode. Go into MENU, scroll down to REC Mode, change it back to NORMAL.

Now go shoot someone or something... with your camera of course!!

Cannot change flash setting

Hello, i just fixed that problem yesterday.
You just have to enable Burst mode.
You click on Menu, then you go down once, to the REC Mode, and you take the first choice (normal).
