Question about SanDisk 2GB microSD Memory Card

1 Answer

My card was in my phone and was working perfectly fine this morning. This afternoon, i received a message saying my card was "unmounted". I re-booted the phone and then it said no card was inserted (but it was). I took it to verizon and they tried other cards and they all worked but they were unable to retreive pics and videos on my card.

Find a PC (usually a laptop, but some desktops may work) that has a slot compatible with your memory-card.
If you can read your files on that computer, copy them.
If not, then search online for "file recovery" software for memory-cards. Such software reads through the memory-card, page-by-page, and tries to "stitch" pages together to reconstruct the "files" that span several pages.

Htc rhyme wont recognize sd card

Try the SD card in your computer, see if it is corrupted. If not, copy the files off of it and then re-format it - then try it in your phone.
If that does not work, try a fresh SD card in the phone (maybe borrow one?)
If that fails too, it may well be that the internal SD card reader in the phone has gone bad.

My Kyocera Rise has LOTS of problems! The one I want to ask is why do I keep getting a random message saying, "SD card has been unexpectedly removed"?

There are several possible reasons for this. The Kyocera Rise requires an SD card to be unmounted through the memory option in the settings. If you remove the SD without unmounting, you will receive the error message. The Rise also has several software issues that sometimes cause your SD to stop being read, even while still inserted. If you receive this error message without removing your SD card, it is recommended that you take your phone to a company certified Sprint store to have it checked out.

My sd card keeps saying not mounted when i insert it

What type and size card? The phone works with microSD cards, 2GB and smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity microSDHC cards.

set the greeting type as morning:2, afternoon:2, Evening:2 and Non-business:2

Error message: unmountable boot volumn

Yes you can save your computer. But if you are running Windows XP, you need the Windows XP CD. Boot with that CD and at the first prompt, press "r" to get to the repair option.
Press 1 to choose your windows instalaltion and then at the prompt, type the following

chkdsk /r

this might take some time but at the end, type the work exit and you should be back in business.

My MP3 is stuck on initalizing

If it get **** on initalizing you can hold the power button for 15 to 20 seconds and it should work. If that don't work plug it into the usb and then 3 mins later take it out and try to boot it up again. Let me know if that helps. Mine did the same thing.
