We have a Model 1245R Lift_master Professional Line 1/3 H.P. Security+ garage opener. We need to reprogram our wireless keypad but the instructions refer to an ENTER button when our keypad has NO ENTER button. Any other way to reprogram?

If your keypad doesn't have the enter button it is an earlier model and will not work with what you have now. You will need to call your Liftmaster dealer to get the latest model.

Without a model number no one can tell.

Try this:

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

Garage Opener Model 3255 Chamberlain Lift Master

The most common cause of this problem is a bad wall control the wiring going to it. You can eliminate both temporarily by removing the wire at terminal 1 on the back of the motor unit. The wiring sometimes is shorted by the staples the installer uses. The wall control gets used a lot.
