Have Lost my manual need one.

Hi,

I could not find the manual for your exact Cook's Essentials 5 qt. pressure cooker. The closest I could find was the manual for the K29862. Here it is: http://www.qvc.com/cd/pdf/K29862_instructionmanual.pdf?rewrite=no

It should be close enough to give you an idea.
QVC seems to be the only one who carries it online.

Here is customer service number from the manual: 1-800-336-4822

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a vote or comment. Thanks,

Handie Andie

The aluminum pot that goes in my rice cooker has started leaking after 16-18 years. Is there any fix? Is it trash. I doubt I can find a replacement pot. Thanks for your time.

i cannot think of any repair, that would work on thin aluminium and be safe for food preparation. (not that i would eat from afterwards anyway).
if it leaks, it is almost certainly too thin to weld.
i would not trust soldering/brazing with the heat.
chemical sealers/glues are not suitable for food prep items.

i am sorry, but i think it has cooked its last meal

If I double a crock pot recipe (4lb. pork loin instead of 2 lb.), do I double the cooking time?

Somehow this problem ended up under Vacuums!

However- I will pass along what my wife says: "Almost 2 times as long"

Same with Turkey in the oven-- She takes the weight, and multiply's the pounds by 20 minutes on the Turkey-- Thus twice as much weight takes twice as long..

I hope this helps-

If not-- try 'Kitchen' or something closer-- or try going on line?-- maybe compare 2 different sized crock pot recipe's of the same or similar meat?

I have been trying to find the pot for the Masterbuilt Electric Turkey fryer since before Thanksgiving. Now with Christmas around the corner, I still can't use my fryer because I need to replace the pot...

Hi,

Please click on the following link to obtain the part you need for your fryer:

http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/gasgrillparts/helpcenter/breakdowns/masterbuilt/masterbuilt-20010306.html

The inner pot costs $49.98 but I always suggest contacting online suppliers to confirm they have stock and their shipping times before ordering. Their phone number is 1-800-955-7075, or complete the online help request here; http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/support/open.php

If they are unable to help you, you should be able to get one direct from Masterbuilt:

Masterbuilt Customer Service:
Phone: 1-800-489-1581
Email: customerservice@masterbuilt.com

The part number you need to quote is 902060010.

These are the only suppliers I can find at present, but please post back if you need further assistance and I will try to find some more suppliers for you.

Regards,
BElectric

I bought a homemaker Rice Cooker (5 Cup) and it leaves out telling us how much water to add to the rice ?

I have the same cooker and it had the same problem. I generally use a tip taught to me by a chinese lady of filling the pot with water up to the level of my first knuckle of my index finger above the rice. I purchased a Sears Counter Craft Crock Watcher crock pot at an Estate Sale, but there is no instruction booklet. It has low, high, and auto shift on the dial. Can you help provide some instructions for...

From a couple of different slow cooker manuals - most I looked at are the same:

When in the AUTO setting, the slow cooker will begin cooking on HIGH and then will shift to LOW after approximately 2 hours of cooking time. AUTO setting does not turn off the unit. Other favorite recipes may be adapted to the slow cooker. All times listed in the following chart are approximate and should serve only as cooking guidelines.

Regular Cooking Slow Cooker Cooking Times

1 (Low) 2 (High) AUTO

30 minutes 6-8 hrs. 3-4 hrs. 5-7 hrs.

35-60 minutes 8-10 hrs. 5-6 hrs. 6-8 hrs.
1-3 hours 10-12 hrs. 7-8 hrs. 8-10 hrs.

if you have been washing or scratching the inner pot with something sharp or harsh like a metal spoon or hard sponge it could cause that and even electric shocks. try changing the pot
