Dishwasher stopped mid-cycle. Did not drain. Now it won't turn on again. I have frequently had to push the start button more than once.
Un plug it for about an hour and try it again.Its probably built a static problem on your circuit board.

That solution did not work. Sorry. I think it's a problem with the control board, which in this dishwasher has buttons, so it's not fully electronic. I've had dishwashers (inherited when we bought the houses) that lasted 30 years and still worked when we got rid of them. Never had a problem with any dishwasher just quitting. Do NOT buy a Bosch. ""Consumer Reports" is wrong about this one.
I live in a remote area where a visit by a repairman will cost $200 just to get here, even if he or she cannot repair the dishwasher. Easier to buy a new one and throw out the fairly new Bosch.
And "Consumer Reports" just rated Bosch second best in repair records. That's not what I've found on the Internet.
