Question about GE 36 in. JGP628 Gas Cooktop
Our GE cooktop and the igniter started ticking even after the cooktop is shut off. Even after cleaning the bottom of igniter the ticking persists. Any suggestions? Thanks
Under each gas control is a switch that will turn on the spark module when rotated to the light position. One or more of these switches has failed. Some models these switches are individually replaceable, others the switch is an assembly of all four.
