Question about Sony DAV-DX250 System
I was listening to a CD when all of a sudden it just stopped and the display flashes "Please Wait" over and over. I can't get it to eject for nothing. I have 3 CD's and 2 DVD's that are now stuck inside. I've been happy with the system and never had a problem with it... till now. Is there anyone out there who can shed some light on this. The manual is useless and I'm at wits end. Please Help!!!
I've been working on my DAV-DX250 all morning With it apart and watching it work the problem with mine is that the changer mechanism keeps "slipping" (it goes to grab a different disk from the storage part and when it tries to put it into the drive section the slider slips and the disk is hung). I have it working now with just one disk but if I try to load any others it "slips" and I have to take it all apart again. there are no worn gears or other, no missing screws. I'm at wits end also. Best I can figure is that this thing must have to be calibrated or put back together is some specific order to get it to work properly.

Optical Lens of Home Theater got stuck and its sled-mechanism doesn't move, thats why you see message "please wait" If you can handle this system then open its top cover, open plastic cover on CD mechanism and push the Optical Lens inward-outward 2-3 times carefully. No need to say, 1st unplug your theater system from A/C outlet before opening top cover.
