No, it doesn't support mp4 videos. As far as I know, it can play 3gp videos only. So, I suppose you would have to convert the mp4 files you want to see played on your phone, on your PC beforehand, and than copy it to your phone.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further.

Just my 2 cents...
Regards, Carlos

Can't play USB MP4 on LG RH397D

The LG RH397D only supports MP3/WMA/JPEG/DivX image and audio files from a USB drive. There is no firmware update that changes the supported file types. You will need to convert the MP4 to a supported format. The manual for the RH397D is available from LG: http://www.lg.com/au/support-product/lg-RH397D# /

I wish that I had better news for you.

Lg gt505 doesn't support mp4 video. is it possible to upgrade the video format or change the format to mp4?

You can use RZ converter to convert MP4 file format to 3gp. The 3gp format is supported by your LG GT505.

I am unable to free download pc suite for lg gm200

There are two ways to do this that offer slightly different functionallity. The simple way is to use the phone with a Micro SD card and connect it to the laptop in 'Mass Storage' mode. That way you can transfer pictures, music, and java games back and forth.

The other way is very longwinded and even after all the trouble you go through, LG's software still won’t allow you to move java files from your PC to the LG GM205 which is almost identical to the GM200 (it might with some of the other phones).

Go to this LG support site: http://www.lgmobile.com/. Select your region and country (mine was Europe -> United Kingdom).

On the left hand side, click the link/picture entitled "Manuals & Software".

A new window may pop up. Click the Download button in the centre of the window. This will download an installer/update program.

After that's installed, run the installer/update program and you will be asked to enter your phone's IMEI but DON'T use *#06# to get the IMEI, get it from the back of the phone behind the battery (as the two didn't correspond when I was doing this).

Now the LG software for your phone will start to download. Mine was 214MB (!) but you cannot use a download manager so if you have a dodgy connection and get disconnected (like I did) you'll have to start the download from the beginning again.

After that's installed you may need to restart your PC. You can now connect your phone to the PC (in data service mode) but don't run what you've just installed, run the installer/update program again. This took a few attempts for me and you may have to be patient but eventually the installer/update program will download and install additional drivers for your phone. After that you may need to restart you PC yet again.

Now you can connect your phone and run the LG PC Suite.

However, I don't think it’s worth it as (as I said at the top of this) the software still blocks you from moving java files to my particular phone (LG GM205 Brio).

A simpler solution is to buy a Micro SD card and load the java files onto that instead (in "Mass Storage" mode).

I CANT CHANGE MY TEXT MESSAGE ALERT TONE ON MY LG GM205

When you go to 'Menu > Profiles > [select the profile you want to change] > Personalize > Message tones', don't you see a list of .mid files to choose from? Can't you browse through them?
If this is not the type of information you were looking for, please, let me know. I can play with my son's GM205 phone a little bit.
Cheers! Carlos

Can't play mp4 files

The mp4 files must be maximum 320x240 resolution, any larger and it will tell you that the file is not supported. If the mp4 is created with any profile other than "AVC Baseline" it will tell you the file is corrupted. It also won't do DRM, but I can't remember what, if any, DRM systems typically get used on mp4 files.

Cant get music on my motorola ve240?

You have to check on what your phone support which extension,

Example: MP3 music from Computer to MP4 to your LG.

Go to www.google.com then type "download MP3 to MP4 converter.

download the software from the website, and make the import from the file folder of your pc, and export it to MP4, then transfer it via LG Pc suite.

It will work
