Your speaker is NOT a device that the computer can detect. You got a bad sound device problem. Check your motherboard's site for support (for built-in sound card). You might need to reinstall the sound card drivers. Try to check in the "Device manager". You must have the sound device installed before sound can be heard from the speakers :-)

There is no sound in my pc

Some possiblities are:

* The sound is muted or turned down to zero. (This can often be controlled from the keyboard; for Windows 7, try the control panel > sound > adjust system volume).

* Speakers aren't connected, are turned off or are set to zero volume.

* Speakers are broken (least likely).

Hi i have logitech x350 5.1 speakers, but when ive plugged them in they aren't working and in the control panel it says there is no audio device. what am i doing wrong?

When you are looking in "control panel", are you looking at "sound, audio and game controllers"?
To access that you will need to get into "device manager" and ckick on the box next to "sound, audio and game controllers". After you click on the box, you should have a list of your audio device(S). Right click on eqch one, on at a time and you should see "disable", If you see "enable", click on that. While you are looking at your device(s), what do you see, ie, Realtek, Soundblaster, etc, for you sound software. Depending on what you have, you may want to make sure you software is updated. I will start you off with these things to try, if this doesn't solve your problem or, if you have other questions, let me know.

Does any sound at all come out of your speakers?

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices
2. Under the volume tab, turn your "Device Volume" bar up
3. Also, click on "Speaker Volume" at the bottom and adjust both left and right speaker bars up
